Chapter 5 Questions

1.  Do you think hiding out was the best thing for Johnny and Ponyboy to do?  Why or why not?

2.  What did Johnny admire about Dally?

3.  Why did the boys cut their hair?  Does the length of hair mean much to the boys?  Is it important to you?  Why?

1. No i don't think they should have hid out, because they're going to get in trouble anyway.
2.I really don't know why Johnny admired Dally.
3.The boys cut their hair to change their appearance. They did this to lay low and not get caught. And because people know them by their hair (Greasers), so the cut and dyed hair made them look more like Soc's.

yes because they can get in trouble. the kind of trouble i'm talking about is prison. Dally loved pony. they cut it so no one will no it's them. the hair means everthing cause there greasers.

1.Yes because they could go to jail or prison. 2.Johny and Dally scared so they dont want to turn there self in. 1.Johny had some very tough and srtong opions. 1.it is importanT to them becuase they like THERE HAIR LIKE that . 2. IT DONT MEAN THAT MUCH TO ME CAUSE ITS NT MY HAIR
